Delicious Honey Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup hot coffee

Preparation Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the honey, sugar, and oil until well combined. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the hot coffee, starting and ending with the dry ingredients.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
